About the challenge
Have you always wanted to work in the heart of a startup? Wondered what fast-paced actually meant? Is multitasking your middle name and are you a born problem solver? We are looking for a Business Development Manager to work across departments on operations that help to scale our business fast. When we say fast, we mean really fast. Your job is to facilitate all our growth, to ensure that our engine (operations teams) can keep up with the requests of our customers, and improving the professionalism of our processes while you’re at it.

Within this role you have the possibility to develop into VP or C-level within shortest possible time.
You will report directly to the CEO of Lamudi.

Your mission is to ensure that Lamudi's internal operations perfectly support our goal of becoming the go-to-marketplace for real estate, through:
  • Managing all operations teams, which consist of up to 40 employees across multiple departments and teams. Our operations are mainly call center (sales and support) based.
  • Getting your hands dirty. Management at Lamudi does managing from high above, but working together with your teams to build great operations
  • Using data to drive your decisions and use this to the benefit of the operations
  • Enhancing your team’s productivity through finding and introducing new ways of working, measuring and tracking
  • Adjusting processes with an open mindset for change in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Training individual team members, large teams as well as team leads how to adjust to new processes
Who we are looking for
  • You are recognized as a top performer and have at least 3 years of work experience
  • Preferably you have experience with startups, top tier management consulting or (investment) banking
  • You are able to display leadership through your past experiences (professional or extra-curricular)
  • You have a university degree from a good Indonesian or foreign university
  • You are a native Indonesian speaker and speak English fluently
  • You have ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively
  • You possess good Excel skills
  • You understand what the 80/20 is and how to use that to your benefit
  • You are strong multi-tasker with great administration skills
  • You are willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You are target oriented, persuasive, customer centric, and stress resistant
